Six Canadians have been added to the field for the 2011 CN Canadian Women's Open, including LPGA Tour player Adrienne White from Red Deer, Alta., who finished T54 in Winnipeg last year.
Also extended exemptions into the tournament were three Quebec natives: Maude-Aimee LeBlanc of Sherbrooke, Montreal native Lisa Meldrum and Isabelle Beisiegel of Sainte Hilaire.
LeBlanc was formerly a member of Team Canada's national team and Beisiegel made history earlier this year after earning non-exempt status on the Canadian Tour.
Current Team Canada players Augusta James (Bath, Ont.) and Nicole Vandermade (Brantford, Ont.) were added to the field as well, raising the total of Canadians teeing it up to 17 so far.
The tournament gets underway at Hillsdale Golf and Country Club outside Montreal next week.
