Tim O’Connor, President of O’Connor Golf Communications based in Rockwood, Ontario, will take the title of Director, Communications on a consulting basis for the association which represents more than 3,000 club and tournament professionals across Canada.
O’Connor will take responsibility for media relations and communications with Canadian PGA members, undertake planning and provide strategic counsel on communications issues.
“O’Connor Golf Communications brings a wealth of experience in the highly specialized area of golf communications that will greatly assist the Canadian PGA in our efforts to enhance communications with the public and our members and in transforming the Canadian PGA into a dynamic, knowledge-based association,” said Steve Carroll, Executive Director of the Canadian PGA.
