BEAUMONT, Calif. -- Kevin Tucker maintained his lead at the Canadian Tour's 2012 Q-School on Wednesday with his second straight round of 3-under 69.

Tucker's latest round at the Oak Valley Golf Club included just 25 putts, and only 10 on the front nine.

"Putting was definitely the difference today, I made everything I looked at," Tucker said. "I didn't hit the ball as well today but luckily I only had one two putt on the front today."

Tucker is among 17 former Canadian Tour members looking to regain status on the developmental tour after making only two cuts in his rookie campaign in 2011.
