CJGA Members set to Compete in Second Annual Dustin Johnson World Junior Golf Championship

Richmond Hill, Ont. (February 22, 2017) - The Canadian Junior Golf Association (CJGA) is proud to announce that eight of its members will be competing at the 2ndannual Dustin Johnson World Junior Golf Championship. The tournament is set to take place February 24-26, 2017 at TPC Myrtle Beach in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina.
 
CJGA members Callum Davison, Brendan Dunphy, Thomas Giroux, Chris Horton, Chandler McDowell, Max Sekulic, Emily Zhu and Cynthia Zhao will be amongst the 90 juniors participating in the tournament.

Mizuno Canada CJGA PartnershipRICHMOND HILL, Ontario — While celebrating its 25th year, the Canadian Junior Golf Association (CJGA) is thrilled to announce that Mizuno Canada will continue its sponsorship of the CJGA Mizuno National Junior Golf Championship. The agreement will extend through 2018 with the option for 2019.

The CJGA’s national stroke play championship, through the loyalty and support of Mizuno Canada, has grown to be one of the premier junior golf events in the country, pitting some of Canada’s best young players in a championship setting and environment.

Canadian Junior Golf Association Releases 2017 National Schedule

altRICHMOND HILL, Ontario — The Canadian Junior Golf Association (CJGA) is pleased to announce the release of the 2017 national tournament schedule. Heading into the 25th year of operation, the CJGA will provide unmatched opportunities for junior golfers aged 5-18 right across Canada with over 100 events on the national schedule.

The CJGA Junior Tour (boys and girls aged 11-18) will host 53 events across Canada to participate in while the CJGA Linkster Tour (boys and girls aged 5-14) will have 44 events in five different provinces. Registration for tournament will open on Monday January 2 at 12 noon EST.

The national squad from England has won the three day stroke play competition a record 6 times.
