Golf Canada’s inaugural Adopt a School Week will be taking place at the start of the school year on September 19-23, 2016, in support of the Golf in Schools program. Golf Canada, the PGA of Canada, the National Golf Course Owners Association (NGCOA) and all provincial partners have come together to encourage individuals and businesses to adopt a local school between now and the end of Adopt a School Week.

THORNBURY, Ontario (Chris Fry/PGA of Canada) — Ontario’s Blue Mountain region will host the PGA Assistants’ Championship of Canada presented by Callaway Golf.
The 54-hole national championship takes place Sept. 13-15 at The Golf Club at Lora Bay and features a field loaded with talent.

MISSISSAUGA, Ontario (Chris Fry/PGA of Canada) — Lorie Kane headlines the field for the PGA Women’s Championship of Canada at Credit Valley Golf and Country Club.
Kane, who was recently inducted into the Canadian Golf Hall of Fame, looks to win her record sixth PGA Women’s Championship of Canada but will face fierce competition from a contingent of players including Nicole Vandermade, Lisa Ferrero and Kylie Barros.
“It’s going to be a fantastic championship this week at Credit Valley,” said PGA of Canada president Steve Wood. “Our field is headlined by Canadian golf legend Lorie Kane who has a chance to win an amazing sixth PGA Women’s Championship of Canada.”

The Mr. Lube PGA Seniors’ Championship of Canada is set to take place at Tangle Creek Golf and Country Club in Barrie, Ont.
The 54-hole national championship takes place August 31-September 2, 2016, and features an impressive crop of PGA of Canada players.
“We’ve got a very solid field this year for the Mr. Lube PGA Seniors’ Championship of Canada,” said PGA of Canada president Steve Wood. “A number of past national champions are teeing it up with hopes of capturing another PGA of Canada title.”

This year’s PGA Club Professional Championship of Canada presented by Titleist & FootJoy is headed to the island of Bermuda and the famed Port Royal Golf Course.
The 54-hole national championship, which features PGA of Canada head professionals, head teaching professionals and executive professionals, takes place November 21-24, 2016.
