ST. GEORGE’S, Bermuda — The inaugural Nike Golf PGA Team Championship of Canada is heading to the island of Bermuda and one of the world’s most iconic golf courses, The Mid Ocean Club.
This newly created and unique championship sees two PGA of Canada professionals pairing up with the partner of his or her choice October 27-29.
“The Nike Golf PGA Team Championship of Canada marks a new and exciting chapter in the association’s proud history of national championships,” said PGA of Canada president Constant Priondolo. “We couldn’t be more pleased to be heading to the beautiful island of Bermuda and the iconic Mid Ocean Club.”
The Bermuda Tourism Authority and the Fairmont Southampton will partner in the inaugural championship.

The PGA of Canada is pleased to announce a new partnership with Sterling Cut Glass.
The newly minted agreement sees the creation of new awards for all PGA National Award winners and PGA National Champions from the proprietary line of Sterling Cut Glass custom etched glassware. Each piece will be presented at PGA of Canada Night held at the PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando, Fla.
“We are thrilled to partner with Sterling Cut Glass for this new initiative,” says PGA of Canada president Constant Priondolo. “This will be a significant enhancement to our PGA National Awards and will be an incredible memento for our PGA professionals who win our prestigious awards.”

The PGA of Canada is proud to announce the five recipients of its 2015 scholarships.
Earning scholarships are Janet Gourley, Paige Grant, Jade Taylor, Claire Konning, and Erika Stonehouse.
“On behalf of all 3,700 PGA of Canada members, I congratulate these five scholarship winners for their hard work and dedication,” says PGA of Canada President, Constant Priondolo. “All of the recipients are either children, grandchildren or current members of the PGA of Canada, and that makes me very proud to be part of the Association.”

Canadian golf superstar Brooke Henderson brings her talents to the Burlington Golf and Country Club for the PGA Women’s Championship of Canada.
The 17-year-old native of Smiths Falls, Ont., defends her PGA Women’s Championship of Canada title, but is up against one of the strongest fields in the championship’s nearly 30-year history.
Currently ranked No. 32 in the world, the Smiths Falls, Ont., native recently finished T5 at the U.S. Women’s Open at the Lancaster Country Club. Henderson also finished T5 at the Women’s PGA Championship—the second of the LPGA Tour’s five majors—in June.

The PGA of Canada is proud to announce it has renewed its partnership with Acushnet Canada.
The agreement sees Titleist & FootJoy remain the title sponsor of the PGA Club Professional Championship of Canada for 2015 and as the presenting sponsor for 2016 and 2017.
“Acushnet Canada has been one of our longest standing partners and we are pleased to have them on board until 2017,” said PGA of Canada CEO Gary Bernard. “Our PGA Club Professional Championship is one of the majors on our schedule and we look forward to celebrating it for years to come.”
This year's Titleist & FootJoy PGA Club Professional Championship of Canada takes place November 15-18, at Verrado Golf Club in Buckeye, Ariz.
