Following Scott Piercy's one shot victory in the RBC Canadian Open on the weekend, Robert Garrigus could only think...and speak....of what might - and his mind at least - should have been.

Garrigus had to settle for an even par round of 70 and a second place finish after recording no less than 33 putts in the final round.

The fact that he was knocking pins down out there made it even harder to stomach as he just couldn't get his putter working.

Perhaps best know for his comments regarding smoking pot during rounds while playing on the Nationwide Tour 10 years back, Garrigus has some game and just felt let down at the most important moment of a National Championship.

"You have a damn 30 mph easterly breeze blowing so put (expletive) water on the greens." - Ernie Els after his third round at the BMW PGA Championship

VIRGINIA WATER, England (AP) - Ernie Els launched an expletive-laced attack on European Tour officials and green keepers at the BMW PGA Championship for failing to water the putting surfaces heavily enough for the third round at Wentworth.

Els was criticized for tough changes he made to the West Course when he helped redesign it in 2010, but dished out the abuse himself after a flurry of high scores on Saturday.

''I'm fed up with it ... It's not my bloody job doing it. It's their job. They have been around a long time, I'm really disappointed with it,'' the two-time U.S. Open champion said after his 2-under 70, which put him in contention for the title.

Els unleashed the criticism soon after seeing his 4-iron approach to the 18th skip through the green and into a bunker at the back.

Following his stirring playoff win over South African Louis Oosthuizen, 2012 Masters Champion Bubba Watson answered a few questions from the press.

Watson was very emotional after he two-putted for a par on the second playoff hole at number 10 to secure his first green jacket and major championship title.

He hugged his mother and broke down in tears as the realization of what he had just accomplished washed over him.

He actually apologized to Oosthuizen for taking so long to shake his hand because of the time he was taking to cry on his Mom's shoulder.
