altJim Rutledge has been down this road many times before.

After this particular journey he'd rather not have to make the trek again, at least not for a while.

Having gone throught the grind of PGA Tour Qualifying on more occasions than he'd care to recount, Rutledge has now moved on to the Champions Tour and finally seems to have the right recipe for success in the week that is commonly referred to by both PGA and Champions Tour Q-School combatants as 'Hell Week'.

Rutledge made it through the Champions Tour qualifying process last year only to have to return again this fall when he didn't earn enough money on the senior circuit during the year to remain exempt.

Courtenay, B.C. - (July 25, 2012) - Brad Clapp continued his impressive play this season, going wire to wire to capture the 2012 Titleist / FootJoy PGA of BC Championship at Crown Isle Resort & Golf Community.
Clapp claimed his first PGA of BC Championship, shooting a three round total of 12-under par (65-66-73=204), edging out local-native Kevin Maxwell (72-64-72 = 208) by four strokes.
Maxwell, who now calls Olympic View Golf Club in Victoria home, mounted a tremendous final round charge to get as close as one shot to Clapp's original five stroke lead, but a couple of miscues late and a couple of long putts from the 25-year old cemented Clapp's title.
