Canada's Albin Choi Continues Hot Collegiate Streak

DADE CITY, FL — Albin Choi breathed a sigh of relief as he walked off the 18th hole with his head up high.
It was a successful three days for the Toronto native, who won his third straight individual title Tuesday afternoon at the USF Invitational.
Although Choi had some difficulty playing on the course for the first time, the junior from North Carolina State still managed to pull through with an 8-under, 208 finish.

Albin Choi of Toronto, picked up his seventh collegiate title Tuesday with a victory at the NCAA Puerto Rico Classic.
Choi, a member of NC State Wolfpack, fired a final round 7-under-par 65 that included one eagle and seven birdies. His 12-under-par, 204 total, left him two strokes clear of any other competitor in the field.

Canada’s Brooke Henderson captured the eighth playing of the South American Amateur Championship Saturday at the par-72 Rincón de Cajica Golf Club near Bogotá, Colombia.
Henderson, from Smiths Falls, Ont. led from wire-to-wire, finishing the four round, 72 hole event with a total tally of 11-over-par, 299.

The Canadian contingent of Albin Choi of Toronto, Corey Conners of Listowel, Ont., Augusta James of Bath, Ont. and Brooke Henderson of Smiths Falls, Ont. carded a combined final-round 6-over-par 294 to claim the overall championship at the 2013 Copa de las Americas at Doral Golf Resort & Spa in Miami, Fla. on Sunday.
Contested on the par-72 TPC Blue Monster Course, Canada posted a four-day tally of 25-over-par 1177 to win by one stroke over Team Mexico and two strokes over two-time defending overall champion, Team USA.
