RICHMOND, British Columbia -- Seymour Creek's Bryn Parry certainly earned the 2013 PGA of Canada Championship.

The North Vancouver resident beat No. 1 seed Brian McCann 4&2 on Friday morning and then beat Ontario's Billy Walsh 2&1 in the Friday afternoon final to secure the 2013 PGA of Canada Championship and an automatic spot into next month's RBC Canadian Open.

Richmond, B.C. (June 27, 2013) - Vincent Dumouchel still probably doesn't know what hit him on Thursday morning during the third round of the PGA Championship of Canada at Magna Golf Club in Aurora, Ont.

Dumouchel had no answer for Seymour Creek's Bryn Parry, who made nine birdies in 13 holes en route to a dominating 7&5 victory over the Quebec native.



Mike Belbin Wins PGA Assistants Championship

Mike Belbin of the Royal Mayfair Golf Club posted a final round 1-under 70 to win his second straight PGA Assistants' Championship of Canada on Wednesday at the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge Golf Club.

Belbin, whose 12-under total was two shots clear of three other players, becomes just the second player in the history of the Association to win back-to-back titles, the first since Serge Thievierge in 1979-80.

Alena Sharp captured her third PGA Women's Championship of Canada presented by Nike Golf Thursday at Legends on the Niagara-Ussher's Creek Course in Niagara Falls, Ont. 

The Hamilton, Ont., native fired an 8-under-par 65 Thursday, bringing her 36-hole total to 12-under, besting the field by 10 shots.
