altVANCOUVER, British Columbia (VGT) — It appears that fatherhood is treating the 2015 Brad Garside Open winner Jeremy Paradis just fine. The 29 year old Kings Links Professional fired an impressive round of 64 (-7) to beat a stellar field of 112 Pros and Amateurs on the always manicured Beach Grove Golf Club layout. His bogey-free round earned him a nice little payday of $1,200, and his first victory on the VGT for a few years.

altIt's been years since Doug Morgan last hoisted a PGA of British Columbia trophy, but he hasn't forgotten how to win. Morgan, Head Professional at The Redwoods Golf Course in Langley BC, won the 2014 Cleveland Golf / Srixon Canada PGA of BC Club Professional Championship presented by Club Car, to add to the PGA of BC Championship titles he won in 2009 and 2010.

altDespite near darkness, Gordy Scutt of Olympic View Golf Club made a 12-foot birdie putt on the first playoff hole to win the 2014 Titleist / FootJoy PGA of BC Championship presented by AXIS Insurance Managers. Scutt closed with a final round 69 (-3) at Vancouver's Point Grey Golf & Country Club to reach a two day total of -4, the same score as Victoria Golf Club's Lindsay Bernakevitch, who fired Tuesday's low round of 67 (-5) to finish on the same mark.

KELOWNA, British Columbia — The scores were hot as the weather at Black Mountain Golf Club this week, as host professionals Russ Latimer and Tyrel Griffith shot impressive rounds of 61-63 to take top spot at the G&G Golf Company / Callaway PGA of BC Pro-Assistants' Championship.

The duo began the week in dreamlike fashion, registering back-to-back eagles on the first two holes of the tournament, and finishing Day One with a commanding four-stroke lead over teams from Olympic View GC, Point Grey G&CC, Capilano G&CC and Fairview Mountain GC.
