VANCOUVER, British Columbia — Meadow Gardens PGA of BC professional Scott Rodgers won his third PGA of BC title on Tuesday with a scintillating round of 70 on a tough Shaughnessy Golf & Country Club course to win the 2013 Cleveland Golf/Srixon Canada PGA of BC Club Pro Championship Presented by DSG TAG Systems.

Rodgers overcame a two-stroke deficit from Eaglecrest Golf Course (Qualicum Beach)'s Cory Betz with a four birdie, one bogey round.

KAMLOOPS, British Columbia -- Canadian Golf Hall of Fame member Doug Roxburgh went wire-to-wire for his first British Columbia Senior Men's Championship at the Eaglepoint Golf Resort in Kamloops, British Columbia.

Starting the day four strokes ahead of his nearest competitor, the Vancouverite and Marine Drive Golf Club member made zero mistakes through his first 15 holes, posting birdies on holes 8, 12, 13 and 14 to get his round to -4, taking a seemingly permanent seat in the driver's seat for the Championship.

KAMLOOPS, British Columbia -- Vancouver native Doug Roxburgh looks poised to claim his first British Columbia Senior Men's title after firing rounds of 67-72 over 36 holes at the par-72, 6,393-yard Eaglepoint Golf Resort in Kamloops, British Columbia.

Roxburgh, oft regarded as a Canadian amateur golfing legend who was inducted into the Canadian Golf Hall of Fame in 1990, backed up his exhilarating five-under 67 first round with a very respectable even-par 72 on a day where only two players broke par.

KELOWNA, British Columbia -- Birdies were flying all over the Gallagher's Canyon Golf & Country Club in Kelowna as Tyrel Babkirk and Greg Machtaler of the Summerland Golf & Country Club shot -20 over two days to win the G & G Golf Company/Fletcher Leisure Group PGA of BC Pro-Assistant Championship.

Babkirk and Machtaler's 124 score beat last year's champions, Kevin Maxwell and Matt Matheson of Olympic View in Victoria, by a stroke.

Canadian Cory Renfrew Finishes 3rd on Professional Side

WILLEMSTAD, Curacao -- The final round of the MCB Curacao Invitational Pro-Am was played Saturday at the Blue Bay Resort on the beautiful island of Curacao. Sixteen-year-old Patrick Murphy of Crossfield, Alberta finished runner-up in his first tournament on the island of Curacao. Cory Renfrew, a former CJGA member and current PGA TOUR Canada member finished third on the professional side after entering the final round tied for the lead.
