QUILCHENA, British Columbia — The award-winning Sagebrush Golf & Sporting Club unveiled one of the most spectacular and challenging putting courses in the game as part of its unique new two-acre practice area this past summer.

Designed by Rod Whitman, one of golf’s most respected architects (Sagebrush with Zokol and Suny, Cabot Links, Wolf Creek, Blackhawk), the Badlands Putting Course is reminiscent of the famed Himalayas Putting Course at St Andrews.

Recently Inside Golf caught up with a number of golf industry professionals at a trade show in Vancouver, B.C. and asked them 3 questions related to the state of the game and what their thoughts and opinions were on where it might be headed as we go forward.
 
Two of the questions were very basic in regard to gaining some insight from those directly involved in administering to the game as a hugely popular pastime, while the third was slightly more 'whimsical' in nature.

KAMLOOPS, British Columbia -- Canadian Golf Hall of Fame member Doug Roxburgh went wire-to-wire for his first British Columbia Senior Men's Championship at the Eaglepoint Golf Resort in Kamloops, British Columbia.

Starting the day four strokes ahead of his nearest competitor, the Vancouverite and Marine Drive Golf Club member made zero mistakes through his first 15 holes, posting birdies on holes 8, 12, 13 and 14 to get his round to -4, taking a seemingly permanent seat in the driver's seat for the Championship.
