PGA of Alberta Announces New Executive Director

The PGA of Alberta has come to an agreement and signed a new Executive Director to replace the departing Phil Berbue.

Robert Rousselle takes on his new position after the PGA of Alberta went through an extensive search of over 80 candidates.
Rousselle will be starting on October 1st and will have 3 weeks with Berube to learn and ask questions, both will be at the Buying Show in October and the PGA of Alberta has said they see this time as a great chance for Rouselle to learn about their association.



St. George’s Golf and Country Club Hires Tom Doak and Ian Andrew as Consulting Architects

TORONTO, Ontario — Tom Doak and Ian Andrew have been selected as the new consulting architects for St. George’s Golf and Country Club.

The two noted architects are joining forces to work together for the first time and will be at St. George’s in the coming weeks to meet with club members as Doak takes on his first project in Canada.

PGA of BC members are multi-tasking professionals who need to have a variety of skill sets to succeed at their job.

How to measure their value has never been easy, but with this year’s launch of the PGA of BC Professional Development Program, that job has become much easier.
Through years of research, deliberation and hard work by the Board of Directors, Education Committee, and Administration Office, this member-recognition program was primarily created to enhance the image of PGA of BC members to the industry and general public.



They Said It: Three Burning Questions For Golf Industry Professionals

Recently Inside Golf caught up with a number of golf industry professionals at a trade show in Vancouver, B.C. and asked them 3 questions related to the state of the game and what their thoughts and opinions were on where it might be headed as we go forward.

Two of the questions were very basic in regard to gaining some insight from those directly involved in administering to the game as a hugely popular pastime, while the third was slightly more 'whimsical' in nature.
