Golf Courses Worry About Possible Cosmetic Pesticide Ban

DUNCAN - Golf courses up and down Vancouver Island fear they'll be in the rough if new legislation is passed banning cosmetic pesticides.

Six provinces have already banned them and they have reported improvements in overall environmental health as a result.
 
But many golf courses are worried about the health of their bottom line if they can't use pesticides to keep the greens rolling smoothly.
