PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Florida — After announcing a partnership earlier this year naming LACOSTE as the official apparel provide of the Presidents Cup, the French apparel brand joined Presidents Cup leadership to officially unveil the team uniforms today at the 2017 PGA Merchandise Show. This marks the earliest in Presidents Cup history the uniforms have been finalized and unveiled, as LACOSTE becomes the first apparel partner to outfit both teams and tournament VIPs. The 2017 Presidents Cup takes center stage at Liberty National Golf Club in Jersey City, New Jersey, September 26 to October 1.
Both teams will have the uniforms not only throughout the seven days of practice and competitive rounds, but also for opening and closing ceremonies. Working closely with Presidents Cup captains Steve Stricker and Nick Price, each team’s uniform collection includes polo shirts, golf sweaters, outerwear, golf pants and blazers, and all will be embroidered with the iconic golf Presidents Cup trophy and corresponding team flag.

EDMONTON, Alberta (Gord Montgomery/iG) — Having been in business for the last four years it would now appear that Longball is no longer a long shot to find success in the highly competitive golf clothing field. In fact, Longball has carved out a solid niche for themselves with their fashionable designer apparel for both men and women.
Speaking at the 2017 PGA of Alberta Buying Show in Edmonton, where the company created not only a buzz with their latest styles but with their eye-catching fire truck promotional piece, Jeff Wood, a partner in the company, said the climb has been an interesting one.
“We’ve grown significantly since we spoke three or four years ago,” he began, “not only from the organic side which we’ve really invested our time into but also the response in the marketplace. People that have carried our product are helping spread the word. We’ve gone from where we were four years ago with two stores, to now with over 350 accounts in Canada, the U.K as well as the United States.”
