AUGUSTA, Georgia -- The first tee shot clattered through a pair of pines on the left side of the 13th fairway, finally landing on the wrong side of Rae's Creek. Tiger Woods tried again, and this wasn't any better. Fans peered across the fairway and only heard the ball rifle through some bushes.
"He's hitting another one," a man announced from the gallery.

AUGUSTA, Georgia -- Three months into the season, Rory McIlroy feels as if it's already been a long year.
The splashy announcement of his Nike deal, and the commercial with Tiger Woods that raised hopes of a big rivalry. The missed cut in Abu Dhabi. The first-round exit from the Match Play Championship. Quitting halfway through the second round of the Honda Classic. The loss of his No. 1 ranking.
And now, McIlroy is ready to get started.

AUGUSTA, Georgia -- Russell Henley's head was on a swivel Monday at Augusta National, scanning the gallery for friends, family or anyone else yelling "Go Dawgs."
The former Georgia Bulldog and Peach State native is playing in his first Masters.
He is carrying the hopes of fans cheering for their first home-state champion since Larry Mize won the green jacket in 1987. Henley said he hadn't felt as nervous as he did Monday -- and that was just practice.
