Johnson dominated the Genesis Open to win by five shots with rounds of 66-66-64-71 for a four round total of 266 to claim his 13th career PGA Tour win.

Canada Games Team BC Selection Camp At Mayfair Lakes

Mayfair Lakes Golf and Country ClubThe 2017 Canada Summer Games will be hosted in Winnipeg, Manitoba, on August 9-12, 2017, for the sport of golf.

The 2nd of 3 Canada Games BC Team Selection Camps is coming up March 4-5, 2017, at Mayfair Lakes Golf & Country Club.

The games was established in 1967 as part of Canada’s Centennial Celebrations promoting unity through sport as it provides an opportunity for amatuer athletes progressing to national and international level competitions.

The Games is Canada’s largest multi-sport competition for young athletes. Athletes from the 13 Provinces and Territories across the Nation compete for the Canada Games Flag and Centennial Cup.

LOS ANGELES, California (Doug Ferguson/AP) — Dustin Johnson’s raw talent and a trophy case that keeps growing allowed him to believe he was the best player in golf.

Now he can say it.

Even if he doesn’t understand the math involved with being No. 1.

Johnson extended a remarkable run, which began with his first major at the U.S. Open last summer, with a five-shot victory in the Genesis Open that was never in doubt. That elevated the 32-year-old American to No. 1 in the world for the first time.

Mackenzie Investments Open Coming To Montreal In 2017

altMONTREAL, Quebec — The Mackenzie Tour – PGA TOUR Canada and Mackenzie Investments announced that the Mackenzie Investments Open, an official 72-hole event, will take place at Les Quatres Domaines Golf Club as part of a multi-year agreement starting in 2017.

Mackenzie Investments, the umbrella sponsor of the Mackenzie Tour since 2015, will serve as the event’s title sponsor, with the Circuit Canada Pro Tour serving as host organization. The 2017 event will take place July 17-23, following which the top three players on the Order of Merit will earn exemptions into the RBC Canadian Open on the PGA TOUR.

BC’s Nick Taylor Makes The Biggest Gain In The Weekly Rankings

Nick Taylor made the biggest gain among the Top-10, picking up 72 spots after finishing in a tie for 10th at the PGA’s AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am event. It was his first top-10 result of the year and it was worth 6.50 world ranking points. Taylor has two world ranking points finishes in his last five consecutive tournaments.
