Qualifying Structure For Awarding 50 PGA TOUR Cards

Beginning in 2013, the Web.com Tour became The Path to the PGA TOUR by awarding all 50 cards for the following PGA TOUR season.
The basic structure remains intact to this day, with the top 25 money winners from the Regular Season being guaranteed PGA TOUR cards for the following PGA TOUR season and 25 additional cards being available through the four-tournament Web.com Tour Finals.
The field makeup for the Finals is broken down as follows: the top 75 money leaders from the Web.com Tour at the end of the Regular Season, PGA TOUR members who are 126-200 on the FedExCup points list following the Wyndham Championship, and non-members who would have earned enough FedExCup points to place them 126-200 on the official FedExCup points list.
A few notes regarding the structure of the Finals:
1. While the top 25 players from the Web.com Tour Regular Season will earn their PGA TOUR cards, their order of priority won’t be determined until the conclusion of the Web.com Tour Finals. They will now carry their earnings into the Finals and priority will be established on the combination of Regular Season and Finals earnings.
2. Of those players from the Web.com Tour Regular Season top-25 list, the No. 1 player at the conclusion of the Finals based on combined Regular Season and Finals earnings will receive fully exempt status on the PGA TOUR. So any top-25 player can earn the coveted No. 1 position if he performs well enough in the four Finals events. In addition to his PGA TOUR exemption, the No. 1 player receives an exemption into THE PLAYERS Championship for the upcoming season.
A separate money list for the Web.com Tour Finals will determine the final 25 PGA TOUR cards. The player who earns the most money during the four Finals events (excluding the first 25 from the Regular Season) will earn fully exempt status on the PGA TOUR plus an invitation to THE PLAYERS.
Also note, any player who is Nos. 1 to 25 on the Web.com Tour Regular Season money list as of the final Regular Season event who earns enough money solely as a result of his play in the Web.com Tour Finals events such that he would have been No. 1 on the Web.com Tour Finals Money List shall be placed in the No. 1 position on that list and shall be entitled to the benefits of that position. In such case, such player's other position on the Nos. 1 to 25 Regular Season and Finals combined money list shall be skipped and the ordering of players shall continue as identified above. In such case, the leading 25 players from the Web.com Tour Finals money list will still earn their PGA TOUR card.
3. The ordering of all 50 players after the Web.com Tour Finals will be done on an alternating basis, with the top position going to the No. 1 player from the combined Regular Season and Finals money list and the second position going to the leading money winner from the four Web.com Tour Finals. The sequence then alternates between the combined Regular Season and Finals money list (Nos. 3, 5, 7, 9, etc.) and the Web.com Tour Finals money list (Nos. 4, 6, 8, 10, etc.) through the 25th player on both lists.
