Cobra Golf’s King Utility Black Iron Is The Perfect Long Iron Replacement For Added Trajectory, Increased Speed And Maximum Adjustability

CARLSBAD, California — COBRA Golf introduced its new KING Utility Black iron, now available in traditional Variable or ONE Length construction. Featuring an all over black PVD Coating, full hollow body construction, 100% forged CNC Milled Faces and Grooves, along with MyFly®8 Technology, the KING Utility Black iron delivers the perfect blend of precision, speed, forgiveness and adjustability in a sleek looking utility iron.

Both the KING Utility Black and KING Utility Black ONE Length irons feature PWRSHELL™ Face Technology that is constructed using a forged 455 high-strength stainless steel insert that optimizes the Sweet Zone TM for consistent ball speed, launch and distance across the face. A hollow-body, multi-material construction utilizes a high-density tungsten toe weight, (67-73 grams in the Variable iron and 90-94 grams in the ONE Length version) and a thinner, unsupported face to lower CG for easy-up distance and maximum precision from any lie. In addition, Computer Numerical Controlled (CNC) milling creates highly accurate grooves for consistent spin across the entire face.

Like all 2018 COBRA KING equipment introductions, the KING Utility Black irons come equipped with COBRA CONNECT™ Powered by Arccos System providing Tour level analytics that help players gain insight into their game so they can make smarter, data-driven decisions and improve faster. Electronically embedded sensors in the grip automatically record the distance and accuracy of every shot so golfers can track their improvements round-to-round. The fully connected set works in conjunction with the award-winning Arccos 360 smartphone application, which provides advanced rangefinder GPS distances for more than 40,000 courses.

Again, COBRA engineers have manipulated the design of the KING Utility Black ONE Length iron to match the weight, length and lie of a 7-iron allowing for one simple, repeatable swing throughout the set.
