Weekly Tickets For International Pavilion On Offer At A 50% Discount, Online Sales Will Continue Until April 12.

DAYTONA BEACH, Florida (LPGA) — The UL International Crown, a unique team match-play competition that features the best female golfers from the top eight countries across the globe, will hold an early-bird ticket sale for this year’s edition on the tournament’s official homepage www.ulcrown2018.com, until April 12.

During the early-bird sales period, 300 International Pavilion weekly passes will be available for purchase at 250,000won each, a 50% markdown from the original price of 500,000won. Each ticket will be accompanied by a commemorative pin flag and one exclusive parking pass will be provided per ticket purchase. Ten lucky fans will be selected at random to receive a commemorative golf ball signed by a top LPGA Tour player. 

The International Pavilion will be located adjacent to the fairway on the 14th hole of the hosting Jack Nicklaus Golf Club Korea, providing a relaxing and private area that will feature special food and beverage concessions. This hospitality area will only be accessible with the purchase of an International Pavilion ticket, the highest ticket option available to the general public. Both daily and weekly ticket options will also be available for general and International Pavilion tournament passes.

“The UL International Crown will be a place for global golf fans to celebrate in unity and the early-bird ticket launch offers the greatest benefits for our fans,” the Tournament Committee said. These premium discount rates and benefits for the early-bird ticket promotion offer the best deals for fans and will not be available after April 12.

The UL International Crown is a biennial competition which showcases the strength of golf’s truly ‘Global Tour’ and it features 32 of the world’s best players from eight countries determined by the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings. 

This year’s edition will be played at Jack Nicklaus Golf Club Korea in Incheon from Oct. 4-7, marking the first time the event will be held outside the United States. With the Republic of Korea hosting the UL International Crown, the LPGA will stage two events in Korea during the same season for the first time since 2008.

The eight countries that qualify for the 2018 UL International Crown will be determined by the combined Rolex Rankings of the top four players from each nation, as of June 4. The final field of 32 players will be determined via the Rolex Rankings as of July 2, the Monday after the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship. Countries must have a minimum of four ranked players to be eligible.

Additionally, LPGA and World Golf Halls of Fame member Se Ri Pak, who inspired generations of players in her native Korea, has been appointed as the Honorary Director for this year’s UL International Crown, adding to the prestige and symbolism of this high-profile event.
