Tiger Jam: 20 Years Of Playing With Purpose

Tiger Jam

2018 marks the 20th Tiger Jam, hosted by Tiger Woods. The benefit event has grown throughout the years, alongside Tiger and his foundation, into an iconic annual fundraising weekend in Las Vegas. Tiger Jam which is managed by TGR Live, has been an instrumental fundraiser for the educational programs of TGR Foundation.

The inaugural event was held in Los Angeles with Glenn Frey leading a charge that resulted in an incredible reunion concert by The Eagles. Since then, Tiger Jam has evolved into one of the top weekend event experiences in Las Vegas.

“We have evolved Tiger Jam into an event that has become one of our most important fundraisers,” TGR Foundation President & CEO Rick Singer said. “It helps us accomplish all of the good things we talk about; helping kids, inspiring them, teaching them about careers in STEM and assisting them through our college access programs. All of those things don’t happen if there isn’t a Tiger Jam.”

While the foundation has grown from a golf-focused charity to an education-based nonprofit, Tiger Jam has also evolved over the years. However, throughout its growth, Tiger Jam has never lost its core component: providing guests with an amazing experience while making a positive difference. It is an event that brings together top-tier musical talent, celebrities, athletes, poker stars, donors and corporate executives, all hosted by Tiger Woods for a weekend of golf, poker and music. This experience, coupled with Las Vegas’ non-stop action and nightlife, has put Tiger Jam in the category of a must-attend event each year.

“We’ve had the greatest time showing off the work of the foundation, what we are trying to do in STEM and college-access programs for underserved youth,” Woods said. “Tiger Jam has been instrumental in providing a platform where we can showcase how we are making an impact on students and youth around the world.”

Whether this is your 20th Tiger Jam, or your first, you will leave wowed by the experience and impassioned about the work being done by TGR Foundation.

“That has been our calling card, the experience our guests have at this event,” Woods said. “Tiger Jam has become a huge fundraising event over the years, and the awareness guests have of the foundation has allowed us to continue to grow. We look forward to the future as the event continues to evolve.”
