First Look At Le Golf National’s Spectacular First Tee

The first tee at the Ryder Cup is one of golf’s most iconic experiences and the unique atmosphere is set to intensify this year with the largest grandstand ever seen at the biennial contest.

These images offer the first look at the spectacular structure which will overlook the opening tee shot at Le Golf National, host venue for the match between Europe and the United this September.

The imposing grandstand, which will also provide fans with a view of the 18th green, will feature more than 6,500 seats as well as standing room for a further 150 fans.

The number dwarfs the 2,148 seats at Gleneagles in 2014, or the 1,668 fans at Hazeltine National two years ago, meaning the nearly three times as many fans will be able to soak up the unrivalled first tee experience.
