Tiger Woods Commits to WGC Mexico

Tiger will play in the WGC Mexico for the first time since 2014

Woods will play next week in Mexico City for the first time since 2014 when it was held in Miami.

He qualified for the event after finishing in the top 30 in FedEx Cup standings in 2018.

"I'm playing next week,'' Woods said Wednesday after the pro-am at Riviera Country Club.

"Beyond that, I haven't really decided on what I'm going to be doing.''

Tiger has won this tournament seven times even though he hasn't played in Mexico.

With Tiger's home tournament, the Honda Classic, it could be off his schedule for 2019.
