PGA of BC, Natera™ Sport Enter Partnership

By THE PGA OF BC

RICHMOND, British Columbia — The PGA of BC is thrilled to have reached a partnership agreement with Natera™ Sport, a division of Naturally Splendid Enterprises Ltd.

Joining as a Silver-level Preferred Partner of the Association through the end of the 2020 season, Natera Sport will also be a presenting sponsor of the PGA of BC Assistants’ & Seniors’ Championships for the duration of the agreement.

Natera™ offers an array of hemp-based superfoods and supplements, providing sustainable nutrition options from a complete, natural protein source. Under the Natera™ Sport line, the Pitt Meadows-based company recently celebrated the launch of Natera™ Sports Bites, its latest activity-focused product designed to aid athletes in performing at their peak level.

Natera™ Sports Bites were developed under the supervision of Victoria’s Dr. Stuart Love, who travels with the PGA Tour as a healthcare practitioner for several of the world’s top players, including multiple major champions. A member of the Naturally Splendid Advisory Board, Dr. Love was a featured speaker at the PGA of BC Spring Education Seminar last month, where more than 180 Golf Professionals in attendance had an opportunity to sample Natera™ Sports Bites for themselves.

“I worked very closely with the entire Naturally Splendid product development team, as well as many of my professional golfer clients, formulating these Sports Bites,” said Dr. Love. “With Natera™ Sports Bites, I believe we have found that balance between nutrition and taste that will make this a successful product not only on golf courses, but for active individuals of all walks of life.”

Natera Sports Bites come in four flavours – Strawberries & Cream, Blueberry Lemon, Banana Bread and Golden Milk – with three bites per 60-gram serving. Their eye-catching and unique packaging resembles a sleeve of golf balls, making them shelf-ready for any pro shop.

“We are pleased to form this strategic alliance with the PGA of BC,” said Naturally Splendid President Craig Goodwin. “Natera™ Sports Bites are designed with all golfers in mind, ranging from elite competitors to recreational players. Nutrition is important for golfers of all levels to either perform at peak levels, or to just enjoy the game to the fullest that we all love”.

“We encourage all PGA of BC Professionals to see how they can transform on-course nutrition for themselves and their patrons with Natera™ Sport.”

Complimentary Natera™ Sports Bites will be provided on-course for competitors in all PGA of BC championship events this season and next thanks to this exciting new partnership. That includes the PGA of BC Assistants’ & Seniors’ Championships presented by Natera™ Sport, which will be held June 6-7 at North Vancouver’s Seymour Golf & Country Club.

“Nutrition is key for Golf Professionals to achieve their top level of performance,” said PGA of BC Business Development Manager Grant Gray. “After hearing directly from Dr. Love about the benefits of Natera™ Sport’s BC-made products, we were convinced that this partnership is a fantastic fit for the Association.

“We look forward to introducing our hundreds of members and golfers across the province to Natera™ Sport.”
