LPGA-USGA Girls Golf Program To Benefit From New Alliance.

DAYTONA BEACH, Florida — The Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) Teaching and Club Professionals (T&CP) membership announced today a new partnership with payment technology provider Mobipaid.

As part of this partnership, Mobipaid will be an Expo sponsor for the LPGA T&CP Teaching Summit, a national golf conference in Des Moines, IA., from August 20-22, 2017 and the Welcome Reception Sponsor for the LPGA T&CP National Championship at Mid-Pines Resort in Southern Pines, NC., from September 4-6, 2017.

Through this alliance, Mobipaid will gain the opportunity to create new sales channels by engaging more than 1,700 LPGA certified professionals.

“The LPGA is excited to partner with Mobipaid,” said LPGA Chief Teaching Officer, Nancy Henderson. “More than 70 percent of our members teach the game of golf for a living and Mobipaid is an easy-to-use and affordable mobile payment technology which will help our professionals manage their business effectively.”

LPGA professionals are uniquely trained to teach the game of golf through a holistic approach to learning golf and performing on the golf course. This people-centered approach emphasizes the communication skills that allow the teacher/coach to develop relationships built on respect and relevance.

The heart of the LPGA curriculum for its members is the LPGA Integrated Performance System. This framework for the teacher and golfer addresses the physical characteristics of golfers, their motivation and goals for their game, their equipment and motor learning and control concepts.

“LPGA is an important partner for Mobipaid,” says Chris Roets, Founder and CEO of Mobipaid. “Our technology uses the power of social media for fundraising and captures a previously untapped audience, growing the opportunity to raise funds. We look forward to offering value to LPGA and Girls Golf, the charities they support and to golfers aspiring to advance their golf career.”

Mobipaid is a cloud-based payment solution designed for businesses to easily and securely take card payments. Without having to download an App or register personal details, customers can pay directly from their mobile phones or any device that has internet access. Businesses do not require any hardware to operate Mobipaid.

“One of the many positives about the Mobipaid solution is that they have no setup fees and no monthly fees,” said Henderson. “Mobipaid also provides templates, tools and support for our members to market themselves as golf professionals.”

As part of the partnership, Mobipaid will provide a donation in support of the LPGA-USGA Girls Golf program, an initiative of the LPGA Foundation.
