NEWTON SQUARE, Pennsylvania — The PGA of America announced the 66th KPMG Women’s PGA Championship will be held June 23-28, 2020, at Aronimink Golf Club in Newtown Square, Pa. Tickets will go on sale this summer and will be available at www.KPMGWomensPGA.com. Details of corporate hospitality packages were also announced and are now available. This will mark Aronimink’s first time hosting the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship.

“We’re thrilled to bring a major golf championship to the sports-loving fans of Philadelphia and the surrounding region,” said Championship Director Jackie Endsley. “This Championship offers a wonderful way to spend a summer day with friends and family while watching some of the best women golfers in the world compete on one of golf's biggest stages.”

One of five major championships on the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) Tour, the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship is the second-longest running tournament in the history of the LPGA. The annual Major Championship – a collaboration between the PGA of America, KPMG and the LPGA Tour – focuses on the development, advancement and empowerment of women on and off the golf course and includes a women’s leadership summit (KPMG Women’s Leadership Summit) and an ongoing charitable initiative (KPMG Future Leaders Program) designed to inspire and develop new generations of women leaders. It also offers a purse among the highest in women’s golf.

Founded in 1896, Aronimink’s prestigious championship history includes the 1962 PGA Championship, 2003 Senior PGA Championship, 2010 and 2011 AT&T National, and 2018 BMW Championship. Recently restored by architect Gil Hanse, the course is currently ranked No. 85 on Golf Digest’s list of “America’s 100 Greatest Golf Courses.”
