Ryder Cup Honoured at Sport Business Awards

The 2018 Ryder Cup has claimed another prestigious honour after being named the ‘Best Sports Event of the Year – Overseas’ at the Sport Business Awards in London.
More than 270,000 fans watched Europe defeat the United States at Le Golf National, in Paris, last September when The Ryder Cup was played in continental Europe for just the second time following Valderrama, Spain, in 1997. It was the most successful Ryder Cup to be staged on European soil and captured the imagination of fans globally, with more than 22 billion social media impressions across the week.
