Golfers Tee Up Prizes For COVID-19 Donations

By JEFF SUTHERLAND, Inside Golf

Close to a dozen top golfers from Jack Nicklaus to Rory McIlroy are helping to prime the pump for donations to the Center for Disaster Philanthropy with some great raffle prizes...

Many professional athletes are lending their names and effort to battling COVID-19 via a website where you can donate and at the same time be entered in a draw for prizes they have donated.

From Steph Curry (signed shorts) to Ron Gronkowski (signed football), a minimum $25 USD donation gets you in a draw for the prize given by that athlete.

And the prizes from golfers are pretty impressive as well:

Jack Nicklaus – A Signed Golden Bear Hat And Glove

Sir Nick Faldo – A Signed Masters flag And Tour Used Putter

Paige Spiranac – A Set Of Personalized Wedges

Ian Poulter – A Signed 2018 Ryder Cup Flag

Rory McIlroy – A Signed Players Championship Flag

The amount of donations now exceeds US$150,000 and the fundraising drive rums through the month of April.
