Movetes Apparel Line Relaunches Brand With A New Website And Ambassador

SPRINGFIELD, New Jersey — Movetes, a luxury brand and crossover collection of sophisticated women’s apparel that merges fashion and sport, has launched a new website showcasing its latest collection (www.movetes.com), and has signed Symetra Tour player Lisa Pettersson of Sweden to an exclusive apparel deal.
“It is a very exciting time for Movetes,” says Monica Randolph, CEO of Movetes. “We’ve relaunched our brand, our latest collection is being well received – selling online and in select pro shops around the country – and we’ve signed Lisa Pettersson to wear Movetes!”
Pettersson is a native of Taby, Sweden, located just outside of Stockholm. Always an athlete, she started playing golf as a young girl and attended the Swedish National High School of Golf. After three years there, she moved to the United States to study and play golf at East Carolina University, where she graduated as the Student-Athlete of the Year and the Most Outstanding Economic Student.
In 2019, on the Symetra Tour, Pettersson recorded two top-10 finishes, including third place at the IOA Golf Classic.
“Lisa Pettersson has a fresh personality, and she is a very well-rounded individual,” adds Randolph. “During her collegiate time at East Carolina University, Lisa was both an excellent student and a great athlete; and as a professional player, she is driven, focused, and has a genuine love for the game – all characteristics that capture the spirit our brand. The latest Pro-formance Collection features fabric with a high stretch content in silhouettes that are functional and stylish. It includes the customer favorite Zada skort, the Maisy sleeveless tank, and a long-sleeve tee. The collection comes in five colors with limitless opportunities to mix and match and features artwork of the word Jouer, translated from French, “to play.”
The latest core fashion collection boasts a Japanese stretch seersucker fabric that moves with you like the comfort of a knit. It is available in the Emy Crop Pant and the Croquet Skort. The stretch seersucker group has a five-pocket design, is offered in three colors (teal, navy, and midnight blue), and pairs well with Movetes’ lightweight summer sweaters, as well as the Pro-formance collection tops.
Movetes also offers a Signature Essentials collection with must-haves for every closet.
