CJGA and Georgian College

RICHMOND HILL, Ontario (CJGA) — The Canadian Junior Golf Association (CJGA) is pleased to announce a partnership renewal with Georgian College for the 2018 season. The partnership will see Georgian College as the presenting sponsor of the CJGA event at St. Andrews Valley in Aurora, Ontario, on June 16-17.

“We are pleased to continue our relationship with Georgian College” said Brad Parkins, CJGA COO. “Georgian College has seen a number of our members go through the institution, and by way of this event, we will bring greater awareness to our members of the programs the College offers.”

The event will be open to junior golfers between the ages of 12-18 and a counting event on the CJGA National Order of Merit, presented by TaylorMade. Juniors competing in this event will also have the opportunity to qualify for two CJGA National Championships – PING Canadian Junior Match Play Championship and Mizuno National Junior Golf Championship.

“We are excited to continue our relationship with the CJGA and look forward to a great weekend at St. Andrews Valley,” says Georgian College Golf Management Programs Coordinator, Tim Zado. “There are many talented young men and women competing on the CGJA circuit and it has been wonderful to be associated with such a great organization. Many of our students and alumni have been CJGA members and we look forward to many more joining one of our two golf management programs in the future.”
