RICHMOND HILL, Ontario — The Canadian Junior Golf Association (CJGA) is pleased to announce a new partnership with GOLFTEC Canada.  The partnership will see GOLFTEC Canada become the title sponsor of the CJGA National Order of Merit.

The GOLFTEC – CJGA National Order of Merit, presented by TaylorMade is a season-long race.  Mirrored after the PGA TOUR’s FedEx Cup, the GOLFTEC – CJGA National Order of Merit presented by TaylorMade is comprised of the entire tournament schedule where all CJGA junior golfers compete nationally in their respective age divisions.  Tiered events on the National schedule provide equal opportunity for junior golfers to accumulate points.  Events are tiered based on field size, strength of field, and length of competition (just to name a few of the criteria for the events).

“We are extremely delighted to partner with GOLFTEC Canada” stated Brad Parkins, COO of the CJGA.  “GOLFTEC is a hub for professional and certified coaching and club fitting that will benefit our members in a number of markets across the country.  Giving our junior members and their families the opportunity to learn from qualified PGA of Canada professionals will only increase the skill level of players moving forward.”

“We are thrilled to be the Title Sponsor for the CJGA National Order of Merit” states James Suttie, Chair and CEO of GOLFTEC Canada.  “We view this partnership as fundamental for growing our business in Canada by being actively associated with the very professional tournaments that the CJGA runs in Canada.  Far more important, though, is the opportunity to help develop the next Brooke Henderson or Adam Hadwin.”
