BC Golf 2019 AGM To Focus On Women, Health, Teeing It Forward

With the 2019 Annual General Meeting coming up, British Columbia Golf, the governing body of amateur golf in our province, is using the occasion to shine a light on three of the most important elements identified as part of the continued growth and well-being of the game as we look ahead with '2020' vision.
This year's meeting will take place on Saturday, March 30, 2019, from 8:30 am (registration) to 3:00 pm at Tsawwassen Springs Golf Club, 5099 Springs Boulevard, Tsawwassen, B.C .
The business component of the AGM is to be dealt with in the morning and concluded by 10am, during which time the Distinguished Service Award will be presented to past British Columbia Golf President Keith Larson.
The main focus of the seminar-style presentations will then be on:
a) Royal and Ancient Women in Golf Charter – British Columbia Golf will share how it will support the charter
b) Golf & Health - Guest Speaker Dr. Roger Hawkes, Executive Director Golf & Health www.golfandhealth.org
c) Tee It Forward - Guest Speaker Larry Gilhuly, USGA Agronomist www.usga.org/teeitforward
