Tiger Woods Reveals Masters Champions Dinner Menu, Connects It To ’97

In selecting this year’s menu for the Champions Dinner Tuesday night of the Masters, Tiger Woods is going back to his roots.

Speaking to reporters, Woods said the menu will be a nod to his southern California roots: Steak and chicken fajitas plus sushi and sashimi.

The offerings are a callback to Woods’ menu from 2006, the fourth (and most recent) time he served as dinner host. The options for that night included stuffed jalapeño and quesadilla appetizers with salsa and guacamole; green salad; steak fajitas, chicken fajitas, rice, refried beans; apple pie and ice cream for dessert.

He featured sushi on the menu in both 2002 and 2003, after he’d won back-to-back green jackets — though Porterhouse steaks were the main event those years.
