Chris Boulding

VANCOUVER, British Columbia — The Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour (MJT), Canada’s number-one played Junior Golf Tour with close to 90 events across the country scheduled for 2021, is excited to announce the appointment of Chris Boulding to the program’s Management team.

Boulding joins the MJT from the Canadian Football League (CFL) where he worked in football operations, helping to assist with discipline, contracts, compliance, officiating, and anything else necessary to put a game on the field. Prior to that, he graduated from Brock University’s esteemed Sport Management program with honors. While at Brock University, Chris was a part of the award-winning ‘We Are Ready’ team within Brock’s Athletic Department, working on marquee home events as well as keeping fans, alumni, and faculty engaged.

“We are delighted to have Chris on board as Manager of Member Services to help steer the program through its 23rd season and beyond,” said Elaine Denton, Director of Marketing and Administration.

An avid golfer himself, Boulding is looking forward to returning to the west coast where he grew up and working with the national MJT staff. “I’m very excited to work with an organization like the MJT,” commented Boulding. “It’s a unique opportunity to connect with and develop the stars of the future on and off the golf course.”

The non-profit Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour aims to develop champions, in golf and in life, promoting the game from grassroots through to provincial, national, university and professional levels. The MJT’s Early Bird Membership Special ends January 31, 2021. More information and registration details are available online at www.maplejt.com.
