In this month’s Alberta edition of the Inside Golf Digital Magazine, our cover story features part one of Gord Montgomery’s two part story on how golf in Alberta dealt with the issues of keeping the game going during this past turbulent year. Montgomery spoke with PGA of Alberta Executive Director Robert Rouselle on the subject and how the industry handled one of the most unusual years in golf in our lifetime.
On the flip side of that coin is another Montgomery article where he examines some of the darker issues that cropped up in the game during competitions in 2020. He spoke with Alberta Golf’s Phil Berube as part of his report on the creation of the Safe Sport Philosophy that resulted from the governing body’s investigation into complaints of ‘unwanted behaviours.’
