Despite the growth of female influence in this country, golf is still navigating decades of negative optics as a male-only sport. There is, however, a growing number of women in power positions in golf in Canada. And whether they are trying to affect change on TV, in financial services or on the fairways, there has never been more groundswell of efforts to, well, get closer to par.
