Mickelson Foundation Aids Hurricane Relief Effort

NEW YORK, New York — The Phil and Amy Mickelson Foundation is donating US$100,000 to the Hurricane Harvey recovery effort in the Houston area.
Since the creation of the Foundation in 2004, its guiding principle has been to assist families recover from loss of life, limbs or lack of opportunity.
“With those goals in mind, the Foundation is donating US$100,000 to the Hurricane Harvey relief effort,” said Foundation president Gary McBride. “Phil and Amy were saddened by the devastation in the Houston area and are praying for all those affected. They also have close professional and personal ties to many people in the city and to the MD Anderson Cancer Center there.”
Fans wishing to assist in the relief and recovery efforts can do so by making donations through this website by clicking on the red GIVE button. Starting on August 29, all donations will be distributed to American Red Cross Hurricane Harvey Relief. Additionally, fans can make donations directly through the American Red Cross by visiting www.redcross.org or by texting HARVEY to 90999 to make a US$10 donation.
