MEN’S AMATEUR TOP 10
A quiet week competition-wise for the Top-10.
Garrett Rank picked up one place in the world ranking to move up to 90th in the world. The top ranked Canadian amateur has been ranked inside the Top 100 for 28 of the 35 weeks this year.
No. 2 Hugo Bernard is the only other Canadian amateur to find himself ranked inside the Top-100, picking up three places in the world ranking to move up to No. 97.
Chris Crisologo was the only other player to make any positive gains this past week, picking up two places in the world ranking.
Honourable mention goes to Adam Casar of Etobicoke, who makes his debut in the world rankings following his victory at the Larry Ungerman Cup – Nike Junior Golf Championship.
Biggest move: Sudarshan Yellamaraju of Mississauga, Ont., gained 327 spots in the world rankings after finishing 14th at the AJGA Junior Golf Hub Championship.

WOMEN’S AMATEUR TOP 10
A quiet week in the women’s Top-10 as players prepare for a return to competition as the new collegiate season is set to begin.
The only positive movement among the Top-10 was Susan Xiao, who picked up three places to move into the top 400 in the world.
Biggest Move: Angela Zhang of Vancouver moved up 48 spots in the world ranking after finishing tied for 9th at the AJGA Sunriver Junior Open. The Oregon event had to be shortened to just an 18 hole event due to unhealthy air quality due to smoke from wildfires burning in British Columbia

MEN’S TOP 10
Adam Hadwin climbs five places in the world rankings after finishing in a tie for 13th at the Dell Technologies Championship, the second leg of the FedEx Cup playoffs. The result was worth 7.11 world ranking points and moved the Abbotsford, B.C. golfer up to No. 45 in the world, one shy of his career-best showing. Hadwin also climbed up to No. 16 in the FedEx Cup race, leaving him 1,326 points out of the top 5. Hadwin also secured a spot on the International Team for the upcoming Presidents Cup, only the third Canadian ever to compete in the biennial team event.
Mackenzie Hughes jumps 13 spots in the world rankings after also finishing in a tie for 13th at the Dell Technologies Championship. That was worth 7.11 world ranking points and elevated Dundas, Ont. golfer up to 31st in the FedEx Cup race, just one spot shy of earning a berth in the $10-million Tour Championship finale.
Both No. 2 Graham DeLaet and No. 4 Nick Taylor were eliminated from the FedEx Cup race after finishing tied for 75th and tied for 56th, respectively. Taylor’s finish did, however, garner 1.28 world ranking points.
Corey Conners was the biggest mover inside the Top-10, gaining 40 places in the world rankings after finishing in a tie for 13th at the at Web.com Tour Nationwide Children’s Hospital Championship – the first event of the Web.com Tour Finals. The result was worth 1.58 world ranking points for the Team Canada Young Pro Squad member and moved him past Brad Fritsch to take over the No. 9 spot in Canada. Connors is roughly $43,000 outside of securing his PGA Tour card for next season with three events to go.

WOMEN’S TOP 10
Samantha Richdale made the biggest move among the Top-10, picking up 13 places in the world ranking after finishing seventh at the Symetra Tour event in South Dakota. It was her second top-10 result on the development tour,
For the third straight week – and 9 of the last 10 weeks – Brooke Henderson retains her world top 10 ranking. Henderson finished in a tie for 15th at the LPGA’s Cambia Portland Classic – the site of her first career LPGA victory in 2015.
No. 2 Alena Sharp slipped three places in the world rankings. She finished tied for 33rd at the LPGA Cambia Portland Classic.
