In this month’s Alberta edition of the Inside Golf Digital Magazine, our cover story from Alberta Golf tells us of the new Athlete Development program, designed to help golfers throughout Alberta reach their competitive goals in golf.
At this point, there are some 35 golfers in the program with support provided to players, coaches, and facilities in a tiered program aiming to produce high-performance athletes. We have the latest Alberta Golf Notes from Gord Montgomery as, among other things, he looks at the two PGA of Alberta members who were honoured with major awards at the PGA Golf Show held in Florida in late January.
The PGA of Alberta was also quite pleased to announce a new partnership with Rampion Enterprises, which involves some outstanding brands coming on board. There are two stories on the controversial comments coming from 2021 PGA Champion Phil Mickelson that many will find very entertaining. And, as we look ahead to Spring and, of course, the Masters, it will certainly be intriguing to find out about the 3 iconic holes at Augusta National which have undergone design changes in time for Hideki Matsuyama to defend his historic victory in the year’s first major next month.
