MEN’S AMATEUR TOP 10
Positive gains by everyone in the Top 10 this past week as the winter break is in effect at most U.S. colleges.
Matt Williams and Blair Bursey each gained four places respectively while Charles Corner and Chris Crisologo climbed three spots each.
Biggest move: Sam Reid of Moncton, NB, gained 13 places in the world rankings this past week. Reid is the reigning New Brunswick Junior Champion and finished 12th this past summer at the New Brunswick Men’s Amateur Championship.

WOMEN’S AMATEUR TOP 10
Susan Xiao moves up to No. 6 in the Canadian rankings after the top ranked junior picked up two places in the amateur world rankings.
Jessica Ip, who made the biggest gain among the Top 10 by gaining three places in the world rankings, also picks up a spot in the Canadian order, moving up to No. 7. Ip has a top five and a top 25 result in four tournaments as senior at Iowa this fall.
Outside the Top 10, Judith Kyrinis picked up 67 spots in the world rankings and climbed two places up to No. 16 in Canada after advancing all the way to the Round of 32 at the U.S. Women’s Mid-Amateur Championship. Kyrinis captured the U.S. Senior Women’s Amateur title earlier this summer.
Biggest Move: Terrill Samuel gained 70 places in the world rankings after making it all the way to the Round of 32 at the U.S. Women’s Mid-Amateur Championship.

MEN’S TOP 10
Benjamin Silverman made the biggest move among the Top 10, gaining 25 spots in the world ranking after finishing in a tie for eighth at The RSM Classic. The result was worth 4.20 world ranking points and it was his second top 10 finish in five tournaments since joining the PGA Tour. Since making the jump to the PGA Tour, Silverman has picked up 33 spots overall in the world rankings.
David Hearn jumped five places in the world rankings after finishing in a tie for 17th at The RSM Classic. The result was worth 2.26 world ranking points and it was his first points-paying finish since July 23rd. It also marked his first top 20 result on the PGA Tour since The Greenbrier Classic back on July 9th.
Other notable results: No. 3 Mackenzie Hughes and No. 4 Nick Taylor both missed the cut PGA RSM Classic; No. 10 Corey Conners finished tied for 37th at PGA RSM Classic

WOMEN’S TOP 10
There was just one change in the rankings among the Top 10. Jennifer Ha moves past Jessica Wallace into the No. 8 spot.
Brooke Henderson maintained her No. 13 overall world ranking after finishing off the LPGA season with a tie for 25th at the CME Group Tour Championship. Henderson finished the season No. 6 on the Tour money list, earning over $1.5-million. She was one of a record 17 players who cracked the million dollar barrier in earnings this season.
Alena Sharp was the only player in the Top 10 to make a positive gain, picking up one spot in the world rankings after finishing in a tie for 46th at the CME Group Tour Championship.
