Woodside Golf Course Wins 2015 Alberta Men’s Interclub Championship

Woodside Golf Course - Twenty five teams battled for the 2015 Alberta Interclub Championship, hosted by the Canmore Golf & Curling Club. Woodside Golf Course claimed the title of the Team Gross Championship with a gross score of 202, -11. Inglewood Golf & Country Club took the Team Net Championship with a low net score of 203, -10. The Woodside team consisted of Joel Wregget, Darcy Boudreau, Dean Botha and Mitz Simonelli.
Together they crafted an impressive scorecard, and made use of the ideal scoring conditions. Woodside posted a 104 on the front nine, and finished the back nine with an impressive 98. The team managed two eagles and eight birdies throughout their round with only two bogeys.
Inglewood Golf & Country Club consisted of Jamie Kameka, John Deering, Rick Heenan and Gerry MacDonald. Inglewood finished their round with a net score of 203, posting a front nine 100 and finished with a back nine 103. Inglewood displayed four eagles, four bogeys and five pars.
