CHICAGO, Illinois — The 35th Annual Chicago Golf Show presented by French Lick Resort will offer all attendees a free round of golf, courtesy of GolfVisions, as well as great deals, free lessons, and the opportunity to swing the latest clubs, Feb. 23-25, at the Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont.
Attendees can win a Golf Foursome vacation to the spectacular French Lick Resort, featuring two rooms for a 2-night stay plus unlimited golf, as well as other enticing giveaways via the Chicago Golf Show’s social media leading up to the event.
Golfers in search of discounts will find huge savings on golf equipment, balls, shoes, apparel, and more. Dozens of regional, national, and international golf travel destinations will be there to help golfers plan their golf getaways. With some 300 exhibitors, the nation’s oldest golf show typically attracts upwards of 17,000 people.
“The Chicago Golf Show is the kind of event that grassroots golfers really love and we have enjoyed our long association with the show both as a supporter and benefactor,” said Carrie Williams, executive director of the Illinois PGA. The Chicago Golf Show is the only golf show supported by the Illinois PGA whose members offer free lessons during the show.
Trick shot artist Peter Longo – WGN-TV’S “King of Clubs” - will entertain on the Daily Herald Main Stage every day of the show. New this year, Tito’s Airstream Lounge will greet fans near the Main Stage, and Friday attendees will receive a Tito’s door prize.
Three former Chicago Bear stars – Emery Moorehead, Desmond Clark, and Jim Morrissey – will take lessons on the Main Stage from top Illinois PGA instructors, including IPGA Teacher of the Year Louis Sauer and Professional of the Year Carol Rhoades.
Not to be missed is the always-popular Chicago’s Longest Putt sponsored by KPMG Women’s PGA Championship. Contestants who sink the 85-foot putt or who putt the ball within a two-foot radius of the hole will receive a special prize.
GolfVisions Management operates 17 courses in the Chicago area and has been a multi-year sponsor of the show’s Free Golf promotion.
