NBC Sports Group & Golf Genius Software Announce Multi-faceted, Strategic Partnership

ORLANDO, Florida — NBC Sports Group and tournament management software company, Golf Genius Software, announced a strategic partnership that includes the integration of Golf Genius Software technology across multiple golf brands within the NBC Sports Group portfolio, designed to better serve golfers and golf course partners around the world.

Golf Genius as the exclusive tournament management solution for Golf Channel Am Tour, providing as host of operational improvements, as well as better integration with other Golf Channel platforms and systems. The Golf Advisor Club subscription service will now provide subscriber access to a golf trip management system, which allows a trip “captain” to organize all aspects of a buddy vacation. As part of the travel services offered by Golf Advisor, the Golf Advisor Club provides personalized benefits, expert advice, unique experiences and a menu of exclusive perks to its members
Golf Genius Software will support event operations for the World Long Drive Association beginning in 2020, supporting local, regional and national events that showcase golf’s longest hitters from around the globe compete in sanctioned events – many televised on Golf Channel.
BRS Golf, the online booking software owned and operated by GolfNow in the U.S. and Ireland, and Golf Genius have implemented new technology protocols that will allow seamless data flow between the two systems, benefiting mutual golf course operating partners. For example, customers using BRS for their tee sheet processing and Golf Genius for tournament management can use BRS to register for events, and then simply transfer the tee sheet data to Golf Genius.
