SPRINGFIELD, Illinois — Adam Schenk grew up a little over three hours away from Panther Creek Country Club, the site of his maiden Web.com Tour victory. The 25-year-old from Vincennes, Indiana buried a 25-foot putt on the second playoff hole to defeat Eric Axley, William Kropp and Kyle Thompson in a playoff at the Lincoln Land Charity Championship.

The quartet were knotted at 14-under-par 270 at the end of regulation.

“What an unbelievable experience,” said Schenk, who picked up his first win in his 37th career Tour start. “I can’t believe I’m holding it (the trophy). I thought I lost the tournament two or three times and was just lucky to make that last putt.”
