Bryce Molder, an 11-year veteran of the PGA Tour, has launched his “second career” by joining Millennium Companies as Director of Capital Markets and PGA Tour Ambassador. In his new position, Molder is responsible for managing investor relations and strategic partnerships between Millennium Companies and members of the PGA Tour.
Molder, 40, has extensive experience in managing both debt- and equity-structured acquisitions for private and institutional capital groups across the United States.
A graduate of Georgia Tech with a bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Molder began investing in real estate equity late in his golf career. Since retiring from golf in 2017, he joined a private lending company based in Phoenix, where he holds his loan origination license and has been involved in loan originations and capital markets for debt and equity transactions.
“It is exciting to be part of a team that shares my passion for golf and preserving the future of the game, as well as the golf industry,” said Molder. “You need help to be focused, whether you are playing on the tour, or operating a golf course. Millennium Companies is helping its golf partners find success.”
Millennium Companies provides innovative real-estate repurposing solutions for private owners and municipalities saddled with failed or underperforming courses. Its leadership team of experts in golf, real estate, law, and land use has devised numerous ways to re-use and renovate negative-revenue acreage, turning it into valuable, multiuse properties highlighted by modernized golf experiences, open spaces, and mixed-use retail amenities that activate the entire neighborhood.
Playing professional golf from 2001-2017, Molder earned more than $11 million in a career that included victory at the 2011 Fry’s.com Open. As a collegiate golfer, Molder was two-time NCAA National Player of the Year, four-time All-American, and two-time Academic All-American. As an amateur, he also played on two U.S. Walker Cup teams.
Molder lives in Scottsdale with his wife Kelly and their young son.
“Bryce’s lifelong experiences in golf and insights to the game and golf industry will be invaluable as we continue to explore alternative uses for golf courses,” said Bob Hobbs, Jr., CEO for Millennium Companies.
