Fitzpatrick to Return to Scandinavian Invitation

Matthew Fitzpatrick will return to Sweden next month hoping to extend his impressive record in the Scandinavian Invitation.
The Englishman, who finished tied 20th in the Open Championship at Royal Portrush, won the title at Bro Hof Slot in 2016 and finished runner up at Barseback in 2017, one shot behind winner Renato Paratore of Italy.
Fitzpatrick will join Sweden’s Marcus Kinhult, winner of this year’s Betfred British Masters, and 2018 Ryder Cup player Thorbjørn Olesen in the field at Hills Golf & Sports Club, in Gothenburg, which hosts the tournament for the second consecutive year on August 22-25.
