Chilliwack Golf Club Set To Host Annual Men’s Open

Chilliwack Golf Club home to the PGA of B.C.’s 2013 Golf Facility of the Year, along with title sponsor Langley Concrete Group gear up for the 2020 Langley Concrete Chilliwack Men’s Open Golf Tournament July 11-12. The annual tournament draws many of British Columbia’s most notable players in the game year after year – adding to the club’s premier status of playing host to every major Provincial Championship.
“The Langley Concrete Chilliwack Men’s Open is one of British Columbia’s longest running Open tournaments; we are very fortunate to attract such a strong field every year,” said Chilliwack Golf Club’s General Manager, Bryan Ewart.
“Due to COVID 19, there will be some changes made to the event. We believe it is important to give golfers a chance to socialize in a safe environment during this challenging time. Creating a fun and competitive atmosphere can give players of what “normal” is again. This year’s roster includes defending professional champion John Mlikotic. John recently won the VGT Chilliwack Championship in a field which included PGA Tour player Nick Taylor. It will be an exciting year with lots of up and coming professionals and amateurs.”
For the competing players, the weekend lineup will include:
- 2 day cross over start (7 AM / 12 PM)
- Cash skins game
- First place grand prize total of $2,000
- $500 bonus for Chilliwack Golf Club pro winner
- Four amateur flights
